President and Chief Executive Officer
 

Michael Cassidy founded Intercept Interactive® in 2001 and serves as the company's President and Chief Executive Officer. Under Michael's leadership, Intercept has grown into a nationally recognized interactive advertising and marketing services firm.

Prior to starting Intercept, Michael served as the vice president of sales for About.com, where he was responsible for opening the company's Midwest office and guiding development in the region. Michael joined About.com (then known as The Mining Company and now owned by The New York Times Company) as one of the company's first sales executives and was responsible for developing many of the company's major agency and client relationships across North America.

Michael received a B.A. degree in Communications from the State University of New York at Oswego.

Senior Vice President, Media
 

Eric Franchi is the Senior Vice President of Business Development for Undertone Networks. In this role, Eric oversees the company's business development initiatives, which include forging strategic relationships and developing new revenue generation programs, while working closely with the executive team on critical endeavors.

Since joining the company in 2001, Eric has held various executive-level positions. As Senior Vice President of Media from 2007 to 2008, Eric was responsible for the company's publisher relations and partner development efforts. Previously, as Senior Vice President of Sales from 2005 to 2007, Eric initiated Undertone's rapid North American sales team expansion.

Eric began his interactive career at About.com as a sales executive and successfully managed key agency relationships in New York City. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the Pennsylvania State University.

 
David Dill
David Dill

Chief Financial Officer
 

David Dill is the Chief Financial Officer of Intercept Interactive. As CFO, David is responsible for financial operations, the human resources team, and legal activities.

After over three decades of technology and services company experience in various industries, David joined Intercept in July 2008. Most recently, he was CFO at Orchestria Corporation, which provides software and solutions to help organizations prevent data loss and control electronic communications. David's prior roles included CFO positions at Telwares, which acquired and integrated five companies to create the largest firm in the telecommunications expense management industry, StorageApps, which was sold to Hewlett-Packard for $350 million, and WorldGate Communications, which he joined as employee number seven and helped take to an IPO and a billion dollar market value. In these roles, in addition to finance, he also managed human resources, legal, IT, facilities, manufacturing and operations. Before his entrepreneurial days, David spent 19 years at IBM, rising through the ranks to his last position as CFO of the $2 billion RS/6000 Division.

David holds an A.B. degree in economics from Princeton University and an S.M. degree in finance and marketing from MIT's Sloan School of Management.

 
Alan Schanzer

Chief Strategy Officer
 

Alan Schanzer joined Intercept Interactive in 2008 as Chief Strategy Officer. In this position, Alan oversees the company's media efforts which include managing and developing publisher programs while working closely with the management team on developing strategic initiatives that help drive the company forward. Before joining Intercept, Alan was Managing Partner at MEC Interaction where he was responsible for overseeing all activity related to MEC Interaction and its associated companies in North America, and delivering strategic leadership, vision and insight. Schanzer, along with four associates, formed The Digital Edge in 1999 as an independent business unit of Mediaedge:cia. In 2005, The Digital Edge was joined with Outrider and Wunderman Media to form MEC Interaction.

A 14-year media veteran, Schanzer has been recognized by Advertising Age as a Media Maven in 2003, named one of Online Advertising's 50 Most Influential by Media Post, and selected as an Interactive Media All Star by Mediaweek. He serves on the board of directors for Visible Technology and has participated on the agency advisory board for numerous organizations including the Interactive Advertising Bureau and the Online Publishers Association.

He is a graduate of Syracuse University and a frequent speaker and contributor at agency and industry events.
